The philosophy has a utility?

Many people question what is philosophy? or What is the utility?, maybe the people think for me is not good because I do not need in life, or maybe the young people say I don’t have interesting in the philosophy and I’m not going to study philosophy, I study medicine, engineering or other career.
But even as people say they do not use the philosophy, I say we are wrong, wrong, that the philosophy can be questioned on or have any relation to reason, and I guess all we argue every day, and we also become questions at any time during that activities have to do tomorrow?
or What happen with my life in a year or any other question that comes to mind.
But perhaps the people who say they do not use philosophy, they are right that something else is already using it and implement it, because I can say that an apple is red and people will believe me, but if someone were to ask Why is red? and there would have to explain and implement the philosophy. In some ways we make use of all philosophy, we ask questions and not try to explain or are trying to explain to someone else and use it most of our days, some apply it more than others, but I think we all relate in some way with her.
